Sewn Aluminized Heat Reflective Sleeve can be used to protect industrial wires, cables, hydraulics hoses, piping and tubing from radiant heat sources such as glowing steel slab, liquid metal pour stream, infrared heaters and other similar sources.
Sewn Aluminized Heat Reflective Sleeve is constructed of a woven E glass fabric with aluminium foil laminated to its outer surface utilising a resilient high temperature adhesive. the sleeve is formed by folding the material and sewing the edge with an Aramid or Fibre-glass thread. It reflects more than 95% of the radiant energy that hits its surface, keeping the underlying cables and hoses cool.
